| I am excited to be embarking on my 24th year of teaching! It's actually my 31st year, if you count the seven years I home-schooled by two sons, Christopher (age 22) and Michael (age 20). My husband, Bill, and I have taught on both coasts. I taught all-day kindergarten in Baltimore, Maryland, and second grade in Pasadena, California. In 2002, we moved from California to the beautiful state of Colorado. I am thrilled to call Colorado and Jefferson Academy my home! I am looking forward to helping your child reach his/her fullest academic and character potential. I love the enthusiasm of the students and the academic growth that happens in first grade. My husband, Bob (also known as Fireman Bob), and I have two beautiful daughters that graduated from J.A.! Stephanie is a high school history teacher, who also coaches girls volleyball and boys baseball. Susie is a Physician Assistant with a spine and orthopedic office and surgical group.
